Photoshoot: Lost Soul

Here are a small selection of images from a location shoot that took place a few weeks ago. Working with three very talented photographers at a derelict house on an old army base, we were lucky enough to have a beautiful model with a background in ballet to create these beautiful images.

The brief was to capture the dark beauty of a lost ballerina whilst keeping the look soft. After sharing numerous inspiration images with Photographer Tracey on Pinterest, I created a few face charts to share with the team at the shoot. We decided to create two looks on the day. The first was a soft, doe-eyed ballerina look with pale skin, fluttery lashes and a red lip to add a little intensity.

The second was a dark, smoky-eyed, soulful look with darker plum lips and heavier contouring.

I added some drama for the last shot of the day with an artificial tear and smudged liner.

My hero products for this shoot were:
  • Ardell Fashion Lashes #122
  • RCMA Artificial Tears
  • Revlon Creme de la Chrome Gloss in Plum Appeal
  • OPI Nail Polish in Mrs O'Leary's BBQ

Many thanks to a truly fantastic team! xxx
